Guided setup.
Our team connects it with you, usually within 1-2 business days. Connect opens a short form: what you want it to do, the
best time to reach you, and who your Make admin is. We schedule the setup with you, test it
on your account, and then turn it on for callers.
Setup steps
- Choose Connect. A short guided-setup form opens, and our team takes it from there.
- In Make, add a Custom Webhook module and copy its address.
- Add that address on the Webhooks page in the app and pick the events you want.
- We check the first events arrive with you and confirm on your ticket.
What the AI can do
- Will send each call, voicemail and message event to your Make scenario as it happens.
- Will sign every event so your scenario can check it came from TimberSwitch.
What it can't do, and limits
- Guided setup: our team connects it with you and tests it on your account before callers rely on it.
- It uses our webhooks and Make's Custom Webhook module. Make has no built-in signature check, so we help you add one or keep the webhook address secret.
- Make can receive events from us; the AI does not run Make scenarios during a call.

Is this different from webhooks?
It uses the same signed webhooks, set up for Make with our help.
Does it work on the Phone package?
Yes, like webhooks and Zapier.
Disconnecting, and the data we keep
An owner or admin can disconnect at any time from Phone, then Connectors, in the app. Disconnecting stops TimberSwitch using Make straight away.
- The Make webhook address you add, stored like any webhook.
- A delivery log for each event: time, event type and response code.
- Removing the webhook stops deliveries straight away.
