Guided setup

Microsoft Teams for TimberSwitch, connected for you.

Post missed calls, voicemail transcripts and messages to a Teams channel through a Teams workflow.

● Offices that run on Microsoft 365 ● No sign-in needed ● Team chat
Guided setup, included.

Our team connects it with you, usually within 1-2 business days. Choose Connect, answer three quick questions, and a setup specialist schedules a short session with your Microsoft Teams admin, connects it and tests it on your account before callers rely on it. Anything Microsoft needs first, such as a plan level or partner approval, is listed under Good to know.

What it does on a call

  1. A call ends, is missed or leaves a voicemail. TimberSwitch sends the details, with the voicemail transcript, and Microsoft Teams posts them to the channel you pick.

What you can do with it

  • The front desk channel gets every missed call with the caller's number.
  • Voicemail transcripts post to the team that handles them, such as billing or scheduling.
  • After-hours messages are in Teams when the office opens.

What the AI does on the call

  • Nothing changes on the call: Teams gets the details after the call, voicemail or message.
  • Each post carries the caller's number, the time and, for voicemail, the transcript.

How setup works

Guided setup: our team connects it with you and tests it on your account before callers rely on it. Our team connects it with you, usually within 1-2 business days. It's part of our free assisted setup, on every package.

  1. Choose Connect. A short guided-setup form opens, and our team takes it from there.
  2. On a short call, your Microsoft 365 admin creates a Teams workflow that starts when a webhook request arrives and posts to the channel you pick.
  3. We add the workflow's address on the Webhooks page in the app and pick the events you want.
  4. We send a test call through, check the post in Teams, and confirm on your ticket.

What it costs

Included on every plan at no extra cost.

Good to know

  • Guided setup: our team connects it with you and tests it on your account before callers rely on it.
  • It uses a Teams workflow (Power Automate) that receives our signed webhooks. Someone who can create workflows in your Microsoft 365 tenant joins the setup call.
  • Posts are one-way. Replying in Teams doesn't call or text the caller back.
  • Microsoft retired the old Office 365 connectors in Teams, so we use workflows instead.
