Choose Connect, answer three quick questions, and a setup specialist schedules a short session with your Housecall Pro admin, connects it and tests it on your account before callers rely on it. Anything Housecall Pro needs first, such as a plan level or partner approval, is listed under Good to know.

Saving messages to Housecall Pro turns on with the AI receptionist. We connect Housecall Pro now; until that is switched on for your line, the receptionist takes a message instead.

What it will do on a call

  1. A returning customer calls. The receptionist recognises the number in Housecall Pro and greets them by first name, without reading out anything private.
  2. A new caller asks about your services. Their name, number and what they need become a new lead or request in Housecall Pro.
  3. Nobody can pick up. The receptionist takes a message and saves it in Housecall Pro as well as your TimberSwitch inbox.

What you can do with it

  • A burst-pipe call at 10pm becomes a lead your dispatcher sees first thing.
  • A repeat customer is greeted by first name and the request goes under their record.

How setup works

Guided setup: our team connects it with you and tests it on your account before callers rely on it. Our team connects it with you, usually within 1-2 business days. It's part of our free assisted setup, on every package.

  1. Choose Connect. A short guided-setup form opens, and our team takes it from there.
  2. An admin creates an API key in Housecall Pro (MAX plan) and pastes it into the secure key form on the Connectors page in the app. Never by email.
  3. Tell us which lead source and tags to use.
  4. We test with you and confirm on your ticket.
