What it will do on a call

1. A caller asks for an appointment. The receptionist checks open times in Shepherd, offers two or three, reads the one they pick back to them and books it only after they say yes.
2. A caller needs to move or cancel. The receptionist finds the booking that matches the number they are calling from and changes it in Shepherd once they confirm.
3. A returning customer calls. The receptionist recognises the number in Shepherd and greets them by first name, without reading out anything private.

How setup works

Guided setup: our team connects it with you and tests it on your account before callers rely on it. Our team connects it with you, usually within 1-2 business days. It's part of our free assisted setup, on every package.

1. Choose Connect. A short guided-setup form opens, and our team takes it from there.
2. An owner or admin creates an integration key in Shepherd (Admin, Integrations) and pastes it into the secure key form on the Connectors page in the app. Never by email.
3. Tell us the doctors, visit types and lengths the AI may book.
4. We test with you, then turn on booking and confirm on your ticket.
