HOW TO VERIFY

A minute with your EIN.

1

Enter your EIN

On your billing page, or on the plan page while you sign up. An owner or admin of your workspace does this.

2

Confirm "That's us"

We look your EIN up on the IRS list and show the name and city we find. Confirm it and the discount is on, no paperwork.

3

Not listed? Send your letter

Upload your determination or group exemption letter, or tell us you're a church or house of worship. Our team reviews it, usually within one business day.

WHAT YOU PAY

Prices per organization, before tax. The discount applies to the package subscription. WHO USES IT

What a phone system does for a nonprofit.

Animal shelters and rescues

  • A phone menu for adoptions, surrenders, lost and found, and volunteering
  • Foster and intake calls ring the coordinators in turn, then a shared voicemail
  • After-hours greeting with your hours and what to do with a found animal
  • Text reminders for adoption follow-ups and vet visits, once texting is approved for your number

Phone system for animal shelters and rescues, with reminder templates

Food pantries

  • Distribution days, hours and what to bring, on the greeting and the phone menu
  • Volunteer line that rings the shift lead's cell
  • Voicemail to text so intake messages reach the right volunteer by email
  • Update the greeting yourself when a distribution moves

Churches and houses of worship

  • Service and office hours on the greeting, changed in a minute for holidays
  • A pastoral care option that forwards to whoever is on call
  • Prayer requests and messages transcribed and emailed to the right person
  • Extensions for the office, youth and music staff, $4 each

Community organizations

  • One public number for a group run by many volunteers
  • Ring groups by program, so callers reach the people who can help
  • Voicemail to text, so no message waits for someone to check a mailbox
  • Keep your existing number with a free port

Schools and PTAs

  • An attendance line whose voicemails arrive as text
  • A phone menu for the front office, nurse and counselors
  • After-hours and snow-day greetings you can switch from your phone
  • A PTA number that rings this year's volunteers, handed over next year in a few clicks
QUESTIONS

Before you verify.

How much is the nonprofit discount?

25% off your package, every month or every year, for as long as your organization qualifies. It stacks with the 10% annual price.

What does the discount not cover?

It applies to the package subscription. Add-ons, usage past your allowance, and taxes and fees still apply where required. It isn't an exemption from government taxes or 911 fees.

We're a church and we're not on the IRS list. Do we qualify?

Yes. Churches and houses of worship don't have to apply to the IRS. Tick "We're a church or house of worship" on your billing page and our team confirms it.

How do you check?

We look your EIN up in the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search data, which the IRS publishes for download. If it's there, you confirm the name and city and the discount is on. If not, our team reviews your letter.

What happens if our status changes?

We re-check the IRS list once a year. If your EIN drops off, a person on our team gets in touch before anything changes.

Can we add it after we've signed up?

Yes. An owner or admin can verify any time on the billing page, and the discount starts on the next bill.

Every number needs a registered 911 address before calls go live: see the 911 / E911 notice.

Pick a plan, then verify.

Choose a package, and enter your EIN on the plan page or later on your billing page. The discount shows on every invoice.
